The Hotel Savoia was the first hotel to be opened on the island, starting life as an inn in the 1930s. Its guests at that time included many famous people such as writers and artists who sought refuge in the peace and tranquillity of the island and the grounds surrounding the hotel. The hotel, recently renewed, has 15 rooms all with bathrooms and air conditioning. To make up for it, there is a sun terrace which enjoys a breathtaking panorama, and a large garden with privare swimming-pool and with long avenues winding their way through lemon groves and numerous fruit trees.
How to get there
The Hotel Savoia is located in one of the quietest roads on Procida, only 350 metres from the town centre, and around 600 metres from Chiaiolella beach. It can be reached in about 7 or 8 minutes from the port of Marina Grande, where the ferry docks, and the L2 bus stops right outside the hotel.
