


We are glad to inform our guests that starting from April 2010 it will be available an internal restaurant by Tenuta La Romana, where you could book everyday your lunch or dinner for any event, such as business lunch or other particular occasions. Your event could be set in our wonderful internal rooms, while our external setting would be perfect for an informal and funny occasion. Our philosophy and goal is that of mix traditions and local raw materials using at the same time our chef’s innovative personal research and the best art form, simplicity, in order to bring out the flavour of our products.
We offer to our guests the best local products, which are daily and carefully selected directly by our chef, such as local fruit and vegetables, stone-ground flour and Piedmont’s fassona meat, a particular meat race famous for its natural farming composed by mother’s milk, hay, maize and barley. Our tasting menu starts with some hot and cold starters, then it continues with handmade first courses such as agnolotti al plin, gnocchi and tajarin. The main course includes traditional meals as brasato al Barbera, stew rabbit with peppers and duck meat with Moscato. Then it will be served a variety of typical cheese, such as robiola of Roccaverano, Raschera d’alpeggio, Piedmont’s toma, sheep ricotta matured in hay, the whole combined with our mustards as cougnà, fig and walnut jam and valuable honey. Our desserts will be prepared carefully, in order to complete your meal in an unforgettable way, starting from the traditional bunet and panna cotta or the white hazelnut chocolate cupcake hiding a warm heart, to the seasonal fruit water-ice. The whole meal will be combined with the excellent local wines, such as Barbera d’Asti, Brachetto d’Acqui, Nebbiolo and Moscato d’Asti, all big names that make Piedmont world famous. In the right season, you will find also meals containing mushrooms and the valuable truffle.
