The golden sandy beaches and lively side walk cafes of Giulianova can be reached in merely 10 minutes by car (6 km). The “Gran Sasso” (2975 m above sea level) and it’s national park is only one hour drive and the fabulous city of Rome can be easily reached within two and a half hours. The tiny little villages nearby with historic buildings and friendly locals are well worth being explored.
