


The Hotel Alfono a Mare is located in the heart of the
Amalfi coast - a small village named Praiano. It is situated
in one of the most beautiful and characteristic small bays
of the area, overlooking the picturesque beach of La
Praia. Praiano is the last remaining mariner s village of
the coast. At just 7 km from Amalfi and Positano it is also
just a few steps from the crystal clear sea. The family
Fusco have managed this hotel for 50 years and the hotel
has adopted its name from its founder. Recently refurnished
therefore offering new and modern comforts to its customers.
The hotel is located directly on the beach, facing the sea - very convenient for the guests. To make their stay as pleasurable as possible, the hotel offers the following services: a solarium with bar service, pedal boats, wooden rowing boats (all used to reveal hidden beaches, paradise corners and unexpected grottos), a scuba diving centre with modern equipments to discover the precious depth of the sea, daily departure to Positano, Amalfi, Capri and for all the other localities of the Amalfi Coast.
By car, from the North:
Take the 'Autostrada (motorway) del Sole' until you reach Naples. Follow signs for 'Salerno - Reggio Calabria' (A3). Stay on this road until you reach the exit for Castellammare di Stabia. From this exit, follow signs for Sorrento and Positano. You will then reach your final destination.
Between Caserta and Naples there is a traffic detour towards the A30 motorway with a sign post stating 'Amalfi Coast', DO NOT take this road, follow straight ahead until you reach Naples.
By car, from the South:
Take the 'Reggio Calabria - Salerno' motorway and stay on this road until you reach the exit for Salerno. Follow signs for the Amalfi Coast. Continue on this road past Amalfi, after which you reach Praiano.
There is also another option: Do not get off the motorway in Salerno but continue on this road until you reach Castellamare di Stabia. Take the exit at Castellamare di Stabia. From here, follow the same directions as those stated “by car from the North”.
