Position

The structure was born as a private villa and then transformed in a hotel in 1965. The hotel maintained unchanged its structural characteristics of a nineteenth-century villa. All the tropical plants that surround the hotel create a one-time atmosphere in one of the most evocative and peaceful areas in Forio. In addition, the hotel is located in a position of extraordinary beauty in the charming bay of Saint Francesco, at about150 meters from the sea and 1200 meters from the center of Forio. The distinguished and welcoming atmosphere makes this place a true oasis of peace. The name “La Bagattella' was inspired by the name that a French princess gave to her private apartment where she used to meet her lover.

Rooms

Comfort and originality are the elements that mark the rooms of this hotel. Some of the rooms have beautiful balcony and terrazzo while others have a charming private view of the flower garden. Each room is just the perfect corner of tranquility and privacy. Moreover, all the rooms are equipped with satellite TV, cable broadcast, safe, mini-bar, bathtub or shower, hair dryer and service Wi FI. The hotel provides single, double, triple rooms, Junior Suites and Suites. All rooms have air conditioned from June 15 until September 15.
The hotel, already famous for its quality of service and for its privileged position has been recently renovated and suites have been added. All the new rooms are soundproofed and have air-conditioning system and they have been designed for chromo therapy. I addition, the already of the luxuriant garden has been expanded in order to make it the perfect area for all its customers relaxation.

Services and equipments

In the hotel kitchen, ours chef 'Sasà' creates wonderful dishes that marry the savories of the local kitchen with international recipes. Breakfast and dinner buffet are served at the restaurant in pure Liberty style. Our customers will also be able to enjoy lunch at our poolside restaurant 'Il Capriccio' that offers a menu “à la carte”.
The hotel also provides parking at an additional cost. All our facilities have elevator access. Surrounded by the wonderful garden, you will find one of our mineral water swimming pools where our customer will be bale to relax under the shade of the tropical plants or to enjoy tanning in the Mediterranean sun.
Our facility also provides a covered thermal swimming pool (96.8° Fahrenheit) for cervical water massage and cervical cascade. Hours of operation for the thermal swimming pool are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The hotel has a welcoming “well-being center” designed after the Mediterranean style. The thermal hotel “La Bagattella” represents the ideal vacation devoted to well-being and relaxation.
Our thermal facility, recently restructured with precious woods and stucco, offers every type of thermal and aesthetic treatment with highly qualified staff.

A few metres away from the famous San Francesco beach, in eharming, sunny Forio, this structure originated as a luxurious 19th-century villa, immersed in the peace and quiet of one of the most fascinating parts of Ischia, where sea and vegetation seem to blend magically together, but without invading each other. A gradual, masterly restructuring transformed it into a hotel with countless comforts, where quality and attention to detail transpire in its daily administration. Fittings and services: The rooms are provided with air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, complete line of complimentary toiletries, direct telephone line and Sat-TV; there are also a TV room and a restaurant offering typical national and international cuisine.

By train you can get of at 'Mergellina' station, 300 metres from the hydrofoil boarding area, or at the Main Station (Piazza Garibaldi), which is around 2 km from the Beverello quay (Alilauro hydrofoils) which can be reached via:
Taxis outside the station,
Bus for Piazza Municipio (Molo Beverello) every 10 minutes,
Tram for Piazza Municipio (Molo Beverello) every 15 minutes,
Metro for Mergellina station.
When you get to the boat landings you can reach Ischia via hydrofoil (40 minutes).

By plane, when you get to Naples Capodichino airport you can reach Molo Beverello (Alilauro hydrofoil) or the port of Mergellina (Alilauro hydrofoil) by taxi or scheduled buses. There is a shuttle bus that links the airport to the Molo Beverello.

By car, when you reach the motorway exit, you should take the Naples ring road and proceed towards Pozzuoli until you reach the Via Campana junction. Then follow the signs for the port of Pozzuoli (departures for Caremar ferries), or else carry on down the motorway to the 'Scali Marittimi' exit and follow the signs for Beverello quay (Caremar ferries).
