Il Fiorile is nestled in the green and tranquil area of the charming little Castel Ratti village, near Borghetto Borbera in the Borbera Valley, where the gentle countryside of the Lower Piedmont region meets the first rocky spurs of the Ligurian Appennine Mountain Range. It's about 40 minutes by car from Genoa, one hour from Milan and one and a half hours from Turin. The close vicinity to these three major cities makes Il Fiorile the ideal choice for a full weekend of relaxation and pleasure, to get away from the stress and hassle of the big cities. The lovely gentle foothills of the woody Borbera Valley, fascinate all nature-lovers, hikers, trekkers (including horse-trekking as there are stables a couple of kilometers away), and lovers of good living and good food. There are other activites available if you don't feel like getting back to nature.

There are other activites available if you don't feel like getting back to nature. There's an aquatic funpark called Bolle Blu nearby at Borghetto Borbera, dancing at the Babaissa disco, or you could spend a few hours shopping at the famous outlet mall (McArthur Glen) at Serravalle Scrivia. Keen cyclists are also catered for: they can follow the traces of Fausto Coppi on the marked routes, visit his birthplace at Castellania, or visit the Museum of Cycling at Novi Ligure. As for fun for the kids, back at Il Fiorile, our big old-fashioned lawn features a traditional see-saw, a cute tree-house and a track for toy motorcars. The extensive woods which surround the property provides a cooling breeze in the summer heat, and in the autumn you can enjoy hunting for wild game and mushroom picking. Each bedroom looks into the woods, as we believe that the day is good when it starts off with a view of green disappearing into the distance.
We can be easily found: taking the A7 Motorway Milan/Genoa exit (in both directions) at Vignole Borbera. Follow the indications for Borghetto Borbera from where you will find detailed directions.
