At one time a private villa,the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia ****,a large and ancient hotel on Lake Como dated back to 1820 is situated on the lake front,facing Bellagio,adjacent to Villa Carlotta in one of the most enchanting areas of the lake.
The main downstairs rooms are adorned with ancient stucco-work, mirrors, frescos and majestic columns. In the hotel’s gardens, which descend to the lake from the hills above, rare plants flourish amidst palm-trees, which border paths and secluded benches, set in romantic niches
The hotel has been completely refurbished during the 2006.
