We are located on an old farm typical of the Piemonte region, nestled in the Monferrato hills, not farway from Torino, official site for 2006 Olimpic Games. Turin is the former capital of Italy, a beautiful city of elegant, arcaded streets, grand squares, and royal castles, and some of the best cafes and restaurants in Italy. Our house, originally built in 1850, was recently restored to its historic character. We're surrounded by hilltowns, Romanic churches, castles and traditional farms, which produce some of Italy's finest as wines, cheeses, truffles and hazel-nuts. Our own garden is available for guests, with a ping-pong table and a dart game, and we are surrounded by beautiful walking trails. There are also two nearby swimming pools. Inside, two spacious guest room with full ensuite bath are available... in our sitting-room you can read, listen to music or simply talk together in front of the ancient fireplace, tasting the local wines. Our rooms are fully furnished with central heating, internet access, fridge, electric kettle with complimentary teas and infusions. Our two gentle Newfoundland dogs, Ginevra and Morgana, will be happy to play with you outside - but if you prefer, they will say hello discreetly from behind the windows ....
It will be a pleasure for us to offer you a tasting of famous local wines (nebbiolo, dolcetto, moscato and others); children (and parents!) can play ping-pong in the garden, where we serve breakfast in the summer season.
Furthermore maps and turistic information will be provided to you.
