


The 18th century country house has been reconstructed mixing the ancient with the modern part. It overlooks the river Magra which flows into the sea at Bocca di Magra, typical fishing-village.
Lerici at only 5 km is, together with Portovenere and Tellaro the Poet's Gulf pearls.
The famous Cinque Terre are only 23 km faraway but it is better to reach them by train.
The 'Casalta' is situated in a wide area of sq. m 15.000 of olive trees which make the best extra-vergine oil. Moreover there is an orchard zhose products can be eaten the whole year round ad a biological kitchen-garden.
The breakfast with typical products is consumed under a perfumed (May and June) pergola.
The bedrooms have the original ceilings with wood beams and ancient red bricks. You can enjoy wonderful view of historical 'Lunigiana'. You see the 'Apuane' Alps where the 'Carrara' marble is extracted and which become pink at sunset. The medieval villages in the hills, The valley where the ancient Roman town (156 a.c.) called 'Luni' was founded, and the park of 'Monte Marcello'. At night the coast of 'Versilia' (up to Livorno which is 70 km away) can be seen.
