The Villaggio Stromboli hotel was born at the end of 1949 two years after the last shot of Rossellini's film.
The hotel, built in eolian/mediterranean style, is the best you can find on the island thanks to its very quiet and panoramic position:
It has an excellent position, directly on the sea, between two solidified lava flows. Surrounded by two creeks, the beach in front, is a mix of black sand and pebbles. The hotel is about 900 meters far from the port and 400 meters from the center.

All of the 37 rooms are elegantly furnished. The 80% of the rooms has the seaview and faces Strombolicchio.
All the bedrooms offer: terrace, bathroom, TV sat, frigobar, safety box, ceiling blade ventilation, air conditioning.
At disposal: two restaurants, one covered where the guests can have breakfast the other one in the open with three big terraces few meters far from the beach.
Tipically mediterranean cooking or on request vegetarian.

Available a minibus service from/to the port, by a characteristic 'apecar' motorcar (the roads ot the island are very narrow and just these small vehicles are free to move around).
