Just in the very heart of Chianti, famous art's, wine's and culture's land,you can find Podere Arcangelo, at only 8 km from San Gimignano and close to the most important art's cities like Siena km 35, Firenze km 65, Volterra km 40 and Pisa km 50. Here, surrounded by vignard's hills and olive's plants, you can relax yourself absorbed in the beauty of the tuscan landscape. The farm, now in biological conversion, is made by 23 hectares of vignards where we produce: Chianti DOCG, Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, IGT wines aged in barriques, Extravergin Olive Oil DOP. It is ruled by my family and in the 1993 we started the agriturismo which we do in 2 old restored houses: Arcangelo's and San Raffaello's.
This is the house where we welcome you. Old people tells that in the origins it was a monastry where some monks took care of plague's victims were sent away from the near village.
Today, after a restoration which has saved the own characteristics of the house, there are 6 bedrooms with bath for 2, 3, 4 people, the cellar where we make oil and wine-tasting that we produce and the kitchen where me and my mother prepare breakfast and dinner with typical tuscan dishes like: ribollita, soups of vegetables, pastas, roasted and grilled meat that we serve outside on a panoramic terrace. This house is on the same hill of Arcangelo's, at 900 mt far from it. Here are 8 apartments between ground floor and first floor:

Highway A1 direction Roma
exit Firenze Certosa, then Superstrada Firenze-Siena
exit Poggibonsi north, then drive along SS 429 and reach Certaldo village, here take direction to San Gimignano,
after 3 Km you find a big sign on your left side, follow it to yhe top of the hill.
FROM SOUTH
Highway A1 direction Firenze
exit Valdichiana, take the superstrada Siena-Bettolle towards Siena. Here do not get out from superstrada and take direction to Firenze.
Exit Poggibonsi, then drive along SS 429 and reach Certaldo Village, here take direction to San Gimignano, after 3 Km you find a big advertising sign on your left side, follow it to the top of the hill.
