The Grand Hotel Tritone of Praiano, nice fishermen’ s suburb in the Heart of the Amalfi Coast, is situated between Positano (3 km.) and Amalfi (9 km.).

It was built in the 50 ‘s and opened in 1957, based on the idea of Professor Giuseppe Gagliano, with his wife Anna, the actual managers, together with their family.

Even if there are many clerks working in the hotel, there is still a familiar managing, for the presence in every place of the members of owners’ family.



Hotel Tritone has 45 nice double rooms and 15 junior suites e 3 suites. All the rooms have bath or shower and terrace with view to the sea, except 5 rooms with a big window.

The rooms are in perfect Mediterranean style with the typical Amalfi Coats colours, that gives a sense of relaxation to the guests.
Every room is surrounded by plants and flowers, like the typical bouganvilles, in harmony with the ceramic floors of Vietri sul mare.


COMING FROM THE NORTH BY CAR:

From Rome reach the main road 'Al' direction south (Napoli) and, after leaving Napoli, take the main road 'A3' to Napoli - Salerno (Not Tangenziale Napoli). At Castellammare di Stabia, take the road to Sorrento and at Meta di Sorrento take the road to Positano - Praiano. Look for the Grand Hotel Tritone on your right. You will oniy see the parking area from the road. Pull your car in and, as your look at the car park, on the left, you will see the entrance of the Grand Hotel Tritone.
IMPORTANT:
Before Naples, in Caserta, there are directional signboards for the Amalfi Coastline; we don't recommend this route, as it is more kilometers. During the holidays, to avoid heavy traffic, after some kilometers from the exit of the highway of Castellammare of Stabia, immediately after a tunnel, tum to the right for Gragnano and follow the directional signboards for Agerola-Amalfi-Praiano. From Castellammare di Stabia to Praiano, either route takes around an hour.

COMING FROM THE SOUTH:
You must exit 'A3' at 'Vietri sul Mare' and follow the sign for route S.S. 163 Amalfitana, Cetara-Maiori-Minori-Amalfi-Praiano.
